• Propylene glycol is the preferred glycol for manufacturing high-performance unsaturated polyester resins (UPR) for many thermoset composite applications. Propylene Glycol Industrial Grade (PGI)is an excellent choice for these applications.For applications that require more flexible or hydrolytically stable resins, dipropylene glycol is used.
